MTC News – Make The Cut is no longer compatible with the Cricut

For all you Cricut-eers out there who are enjoying using MTC on your Cricuts, you might not want to take any more updates for the software. Or else… your Cricut will not work with the new version. Click here to learn more.

For those who really enjoy MTC no matter what machine they have to use, check out this new monster of a personal cutter: Black Cat Couger.

I can’t guarantee that any machine other than the Cricut will work with SVG files though. And, as far as i can tell, Sure Cuts A Lot 2 (by CraftEdge) still works with the Cricut. But, I’m not sure if they will have to follow along with MTC someday – so watch out, and always keep past versions’ installation files for your favorite software saved to disc, just in case the next version no longer works with your favorite cutting machine.

Best wishes & happy crafting,

FREE SVG File – Easter – Baby Chick in Egg

How about an Easter Chickie? (I made this one from a free coloring page found online.)
Happy Easter to all my readers & paper crafters everywhere!!
Enjoy!! πŸ™‚

Right-click here and “Save Target As” to download this freebie SVG file to your computer. If you don’t have an electronic cutter that uses SVG files, you can right-click on the image (JPG) above and save it to your computer to print and then cut out by hand. πŸ™‚

You might want to skip trying to cut the tiny eyes out (unless you make this chick really big)… just pen the oval eyes in when you’re done putting the rest of the pieces together.

When you’re done downloading this freebie, please check out my SVG Store and our new rectangular Berry (or Easter) Basket SVG as well as our (round) 3D Easter Basket SVG for sale. Thanks! πŸ™‚

Irrelevant to Most of My Readers: To all those looking for “catalytic converters”

For some reason, my blog stats tell me that people are finding my blog by searching for such phrases as “catalatic converters”. I am not sure why searchers of this phrase are landing here exactly, but I did create and I do run a website for my boyfriend, Tim, related to the recycling of catalytic converters. It’s called ConverterGuys.com and you can click here to visit that site. I think that’s probably what you were looking for when you found my blog. πŸ™‚

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks,
Vickie πŸ™‚
