Here are two sets of nested torn-edge (deckled) rectangles for you to use as labels or backgrounds for all your pics and paper-piecings. Just click “break apart” or “ungroup” (in SCAL2 anyway) and choose which rectangle(s) you want to use and remove the rest.

I made these from photos of some homemade cards that had sentiments inside that were printed on vellum, then torn out and inked. One is from the wedding card that i uploaded pics of back in February and one is from a birthday card i just made. Enjoy!! 🙂

Right-click here and “Save Target As” to download this freebie SVG file to your computer.

When you’re done downloading this freebie, please check out my SVG Store and our rectangular Berry (or Easter) Basket SVG as well as our (round) 3D Easter Basket SVG for sale. Thanks! 🙂

Happy Crafting!!

  1. I really like the deckled edges! TFS!

  2. I clicked and nothing comes up.

    • Hmmm, that’s odd. Did you try right-clicking and “Save Target As”? When you just click the link, nothing happens really (unless u have an SVG viewer installed). I just tested it out (by right-clicking, etc.) and it seemed to work fine on my end. Please try again and, if you still have no luck, feel free to email me and I’ll email the file to you 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by!!

  3. Just thought I would share that I used a flourish you posted a while back today when I etched a pattern on a beer stein. You can see it at Thanks for the file!

    • Awesome stein!! I love to see the crafty work my readers perform given the SVG files that i provide. The biggest things that keep me doing what I’m doing are pics of your great works of art and the comments that you all leave here on my blog. Thank you, Thank you!! ~Vickie 🙂
